What
means "spyware-free"?
If you have downloaded any program which contains spyware, while that
program is running, it is sending somebody some information about your
internet navigation habits, such as pages frequently visited, topics
searched through search engines, etc. The spyware contained by the popular
programs is supposed not to send compromised information, like passwords
or credit card numbers. Anyway, you could have downloaded a fake version
of those programs... specially designed to betray your confidence. Every
internet user should understand that this shitware is a permanent
risk for our privacy and avoid using programs with that kind of unsolicited
load. But... really unsolicited? Well... not really. Most of them include
a warning about the presence of spyware within the program code, among
the huge amount of blurry conditions which one has to accept before
downloading. This is a list of other file exchanging programs which
contain spyware: Kazaa (the free version), Bearshare (the free version),
Imesh, Grokster, Xolox, FreeWire, Morpheus, etc... Fortunately, other
